Let’s Not Become UAP’s Hatfields and McCoys

Caution: We the People versus You the Oppressors could be ahead. It won’t work to mock a hypothesis or the evidence. Open minds needed.

There is a danger of locking ourselves into opposing camps when discussing UFOs and UAP. That would prevent any exchange of information and ideas and freeze ourselves into fan-zones, the equivalent of the Politically Correct vs. Incorrect camps, or (to borrow from U.S. history) the Hatfields and McCoys.

The main dividing line is the one between those who believe in the extraterrestrial origin of UFOs versus those who question it.

Skepticism is About Origins, Not Sightings

There is no dispute about whether UFO sightings are real or not. The sightings themselves are real. In fact, according to the executive summary of the recent government produced UAP report from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence:
