Jonathan, you are absolutely correct. I’m also realizing that discoverability is an issue. Despite 3 months on Substack I still have only 127 subscribers — ugh! Wakeup time :) I think Substack is a great platform for those writers who already have a substantial mail list of devoted readers. I also believe that Medium is a better place to get discovered by chance.
