Donovan, you’ve made quite a few valid points that I agree with. One thing that got me thinking is this: how do we distinguish the difference between “lack of evidence” from “somebody withholding or suppressing the existing evidence” since the end result would look awfully the same? Sometimes it feels like the parties that we suspect might be “withholding” evidence perhaps simply don't have any? It’s not a sexy assumption I know. It wouldn't make a good TV or Netflix series but I still wonder how to separate the two possibilities.
