Dear Sexy Hermit, thank you for your great feedback. There is so much in your response that I feel like writing a separate post to address the points you've raised. Yes, I also am on the side of science. No doubt. I'm with you on that but I do not have an abstractr "The Truth" target. My life is not about collecting scientific truths since when I die no one will care about the bullet points I've collected. For me the significance of life is about the positive changes I make in my own life and similar changes I catalyze in other peoples' lives. Science does that to a large degree. That's why when I have a headache I take Advil and not perform a voodoo ceremony. But someitmes so does poetry, art, and music. I'm also 100% with you about being the gatekeepers of our own minds. Otherwise we consume a lot of garbage that leads nowhere. Again, thank you.
