Chris, I've read your very long post "Life Can be Tough..." and subscribed to your newsletter because I liked it. It's the sincere meditation of a heart looking for salvation on this earth. As someone who is very interested in spiritual search, I think I know where you're coming from.
However, as a writer, I think your piece can be improved by bringing the personal to the fore. That's what's missing. Instead of writing a traditional "book review," tell us your own story. How and why back in 1987 you became a Christian. Where were you at the time? How was the day? What were you wearing? Give us a concrete 5-senses context of this important event in your life. Transport us to that crucial day. Only then quote Pascal. Only then quote pages from your book.
Secondly, watch your punctuation and chunk your content. On the Internet, no one has the patience to read through 500 word text blocks. Use short paragraphs. Use lists, bullet points, images, and make it easy for the online reader to go through your vast landscape. Spend some time to write shorter pieces.
